World Elev is an independent digital publication that explains the forces shaping the world: politics, business, technology, science and health. We write for readers who want to understand the news, not just scroll past it.
What we publish
Our reporting focuses on clear explanation and context. We publish explainers that break down complex subjects, analysis that connects events to the bigger picture, and clearly labelled opinion pieces that argue a point of view.
Our sections
Readers will find our work organized into World, Politics, Business, Technology, Science, Health and Opinion. Technology coverage includes dedicated pages on artificial intelligence and cybersecurity.
Who we are
World Elev is run by a small editorial team of writers and editors. Every article carries the name of the person who wrote it, and every piece is reviewed by an editor before publication.
Our standards
We aim to be accurate, fair and transparent. We distinguish clearly between news, analysis and opinion, we cite our sources wherever possible and we correct our mistakes openly. You can read more in our Editorial Standards.
Independence
World Elev is supported by advertising. Advertisers have no influence over our editorial decisions, and advertising is always clearly marked and kept separate from our journalism.
